Research: Camera Movements

Pans - A movement which scans a scene horizontally. This movement is used when a character is running across the camera

Tilts - A movement which shows a scene vertically, similar to a pan. This is usually used to establish a character.

Tracking Shots - Which are also known as dolly shots or trucking shots. This is when the camera is placed on a moving object and moved along side something.

Summary: From researching the different camera angles, shots and movement, I can choose the ones that can help my thriller opening achieve its theme and context. Next I will look at Lighting.
